Clear expectations for using our website and working with West Chester Dog Training.

Overview

This website is operated by West Chester Dog Training (“West Chester Dog Training,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of westchesterdogtraining.pet and, where applicable, your use of our dog-training services.

By accessing or using this website, contacting us, scheduling a consultation or training session, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional terms that may apply to a specific service, appointment, purchase, or agreement.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page, along with the date it was last updated.

Our Services

West Chester Dog Training provides dog-training and behavior-support services designed to help clients and their dogs develop practical skills for everyday life.

Information provided on this website is intended for general educational and informational purposes. It is not a substitute for veterinary care, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Training recommendations may vary based on the individual dog, household, environment, history, health, behavior, and other circumstances.

While we work to provide thoughtful, individualized training, specific behavioral or training results cannot be guaranteed.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information that may be relevant to their dog's training, including information about behavior, medical conditions, medications, injuries, bite history, aggression, fear, anxiety, or other circumstances that could affect training or safety.

Clients are also responsible for following reasonable training and safety instructions provided during the course of services.

Because dogs are animals and behavior can be affected by circumstances outside our control, clients understand that they remain responsible for supervising and managing their dog appropriately between and during training sessions.

If a dog's behavior presents a safety concern, we may modify, pause, or discontinue a training session or recommend additional professional or veterinary support when appropriate.

Scheduling and Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled through our website or through Acuity Scheduling, a Squarespace scheduling service.

Appointment availability, scheduling requirements, intake forms, cancellation policies, payment requirements, and other appointment-specific terms may be provided during the booking process or in communications related to your appointment.

If you schedule an appointment through Acuity, additional terms or notices presented during the scheduling or intake process may also apply.

Payments and Service Fees

Fees for our services will be communicated before or during the scheduling or service process, as applicable.

Prices and service offerings may change from time to time. Any applicable payment, deposit, package, cancellation, or refund terms may be communicated separately in connection with a particular service or appointment.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights you may have under applicable law.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Any cancellation or rescheduling requirements applicable to a particular service or appointment will be communicated at the time of booking or in the applicable service agreement, booking confirmation, or other client communication.

Where a specific cancellation or rescheduling policy applies, that policy will govern the applicable appointment.

We may update, change, or remove website content at any time.

These third-party services operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies, and practices.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's separate terms and policies.

Acuity Scheduling

We may use Acuity Scheduling, a Squarespace service, to facilitate appointment scheduling, intake forms, communications, and other scheduling-related functions.

Information submitted through Acuity may be processed according to Acuity's applicable terms and privacy practices, as well as our Privacy Policy.

Where applicable, clients may be asked to review or agree to additional terms or provide consent through an Acuity intake form before scheduling or participating in services.

Privacy

Your use of this website and our collection and handling of personal information are also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect, how we may use it, how information may be shared, and certain rights that may apply to you.

No Guarantee of Results

Dog training involves variables that are outside the control of West Chester Dog Training, including the dog's individual temperament, history, genetics, health, environment, consistency of training, household circumstances, and the actions of other people or animals.

Accordingly, we do not guarantee a particular behavioral or training outcome.

Training information and recommendations are provided based on the circumstances known to us at the time and may need to be adjusted as circumstances change.

Safety and Assumption of Risk

Working with dogs involves inherent risks, including the possibility of bites, scratches, falls, property damage, or other injury.

We take reasonable precautions to promote safe training practices. However, no training environment or interaction with an animal can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.

Clients are responsible for following safety instructions and informing us of known risks or changes in their dog's behavior that could affect a training session.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that all information provided through the website will always be complete, accurate, or current.

We make no guarantee regarding a particular result from the use of our website, educational materials, or dog-training services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, West Chester Dog Training will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our website or services.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, your violation of these Terms & Conditions, or your violation of another person's rights.

This provision does not apply to the extent that applicable law prohibits such an obligation.

Termination

We may restrict or terminate access to our website or discontinue providing services to a client when reasonably necessary, including when a person violates these Terms & Conditions, engages in unlawful or abusive conduct, presents a safety concern, or otherwise creates circumstances that make continued service inappropriate.

Any rights or obligations that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply after termination.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, services, website, technology, or applicable laws.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the website after updated Terms & Conditions are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
